The Red and the White exhibition

I have just been involved in the Red and the White exhibition that was held in Leeds and Manchester.

The White and Red Exhibition features young designers from two cities over two weeks. It is a celebration of Northern creative juices, combining work from both sides of the Pennines, White & Red showcases emerging designers and illustrators from Manchester School of Art and Leeds College of Art.

It was a lot of hard work but It was very rewarding and such a good opportunity to get my work out there.

The concept of the work was based on my local 1930's cinema. The Plaza has such a wonderful heritage so I wanted to embrace their 1930's beginnings and i created 3 posters to reflect this. The posters were screenprinted on both cartridge paper and the final prints were on 1930's piano music rolls.
